Extraction method: steam distillation
English lavender essential oil is a concentrated liquid containing volatile aromatic compounds extracted by steam distillation from the lavender plant. It has been used for centuries to aid in the healing of minor cuts, bruises, burns and chronic conditions such as rheumatism, asthma and dermatitis.
Its fresh, sweet and floral aroma is highly appreciated in the perfume industry. This oil is generally diluted in vegetable oils such as sweet almond, grape seed, jojoba or avocado, except when used in baths, where a few drops can be added directly.
Ideal for aromatherapy, it can help combat depression, stress and fatigue. Use in diffusers or burners for a pleasant and relaxing environment.
